Accra: Archbishop Charles Agyinasare, a prominent figure within Ghana's Christian community and a leading voice in African Pentecostalism, has been awarded a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Business from Transcontinental University. The graduation ceremony took place at the GTEC Hall in Accra, marking a significant educational achievement for the Perez Chapel International founder and prelate, alongside four fellow Ghanaian graduates.
According to Ghana Web, the academic event saw the conferment of degrees on Archbishop Agyinasare and his peers, Ballu Mamudu, Lutfah Issah, Lutfia Saeed Jamal, and Andrews Ayiku, on Saturday, March 28, 2026. The Archbishop's doctoral dissertation explored leadership influence on claims of divine healing and miracles, with a particular focus on a global evangelist from Ghana.
President John Dramani Mahama, through a message delivered by his Presidential Advisor on the Economy, Seth Terkper, extended his congratulations to Archbishop Agyinasare. President Mahama highlighted the occasion as a remarkable milestone in academic achievement, leadership, and national development. He emphasized the growing importance of knowledge, innovation, and ethical leadership in Ghana.
Reflecting on his longstanding relationship with Archbishop Agyinasare, President Mahama recounted their connections from Tamale and their mutual respect and friendship over the years.
