Takoradi: Alhaji Ahmed Osman Maiwada Masala II, the Zongo Chief of Takoradi, has called on Muslim youth to be guided by the teachings of Islam and live responsible lives beyond Ramadan. He urged the youth to do away with bad attitudes and conduct themselves in accordance with the principles of Ramadan.
According to Ghana News Agency, Alhaji Masala II made this call during a gathering of Muslim faithful at Sekondi Methodist Park, where they prayed to mark the end of the holy month of Ramadan and celebrated this year's Eid-ul-Fitr. He emphasized the need for young individuals, particularly those from Zongo communities, to refrain from negative behaviors and embrace righteousness even after the fasting period has concluded.
Alhaji Masala II also implored all Muslims to continue living in peace and harmony with each other and to pray for Allah's continuous blessings upon their families and the nation. He highlighted that Islam is centered on love, peace, and unity, urging the community to contribute to upholding these principles to help build a prosperous nation for all.
