Accra: Ghanaian preacher and marriage counsellor, Rev Daniel Annan, has advised women to better understand the needs and perspectives of men when preparing for marriage. Speaking in an interview on Joy Prime, Rev Annan stressed the significance of companionship, emotional support, and intimacy in marital relationships.
According to Ghana Web, Rev Annan explained that physical attraction and presentation often influence men's decisions when choosing a marriage partner. He emphasized the need for women to understand a man's worldview, describing it as a key factor for successful marriages. "As a woman, you have to understand a man's worldview. If you understand this recognition, again, he's looking for someone who's a helper," Rev Annan stated.
He further highlighted the importance of intimacy, suggesting that it plays a crucial role in marital bonds. "He's also looking for someone who's going to give him a very good sex. Without sex, men will die," he remarked, underlining the critical nature of physical connections in marriages.
Rev Annan also touched on the idea of men allowing their wives to spend money, suggesting that understanding a man's perspective can lead to harmonious relationships. He noted the influence of physical presentation on men's choices, saying, "That's the reason why the men look at things. They look for packaging before they marry."
He concluded by emphasizing the necessity of mutual understanding between men and women, stating, "That's why everyone must understand a man's language so that you behave beautifully."
