Dubai: The United Arab Emirates (UAE) is starting to operate exceptional flights to assist stranded passengers in leaving the Gulf country. This development follows the suspension of many flights due to Iranian attacks on the country.
According to Ghana News Agency, the General Civil Aviation Authority issued a statement on Monday urging passengers whose flights have been impacted to wait for notifications regarding their new flight timings. The authority emphasized that these exceptional flights aim to address the travel disruptions caused by recent events.
Dubai has confirmed that a limited resumption of operations will begin on Monday evening. A small number of flights are scheduled to operate from two airports in the emirate. This development follows the UAE's announcement on Saturday of a partial closure of its airspace and the suspension of all flights at Dubai's airports.
