Kumasi: The Police Athletics Team delivered an impressive performance at the Kumasi Relay Championship held on Saturday, February 14, 2026, at the Paa Joe Sports Stadium.
According to Ghana Web, a total of 28 police athletes represented the Service in the highly competitive event, which commenced at 9:30 a.m and featured heats and finals in the 4€š¬‚¬100m, 4€š¬‚¬200m, 4€š¬‚¬400m, and 4€š¬‚¬800m relays for both men and women. Demonstrating discipline, speed, and endurance, the Police team swept all four men's relay events and clinched three gold medals in the women's category.
The results for the men's events were as follows: gold in the 4€š¬‚¬800m, 4€š¬‚¬400m, 4€š¬‚¬200m, and 4€š¬‚¬100m relays. In the women's category, the team secured gold in the 4€š¬‚¬100m, 4€š¬‚¬200m, and 4€š¬‚¬400m relays, along with a silver in the 4€š¬‚¬800m event.
