Offinso-achiase: A gruesome incident has rocked the Offinso Achiase community in the Ashanti Region, leaving three family members dead. The victims were killed on Monday, February 16, 2026, following a family dispute that turned violent.
According to Ghana Web, eyewitnesses reported that a 21-year-old man with a history of mental illness stabbed and killed his biological mother after a brief misunderstanding. The incident escalated when one of his brothers, Kofi, attempted to confront him but was overpowered and also killed by the 21-year-old.
The suspect was subsequently killed by unknown assailants, reportedly as an act of retaliation for the deaths of his mother and brother. The police have been informed and are currently investigating the matter.
The incident has sent shockwaves through the community, prompting residents to call for increased security measures to prevent similar occurrences in the future.
