Accra: The General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Justin Frimpong Kodua, has put to rest speculations about a possible reshuffle of the party's leadership in Parliament. Speaking in an interview on TV3, Kodua stated that the idea is not on the party's agenda and does not foresee any changes in the leadership team led by Alexander Kwamena Afenyo-Markin.
According to Ghana Web, Kodua praised the performance of the NPP's Minority leadership, highlighting their effective work in Parliament. He emphasized that the party is satisfied with the Minority's efforts in holding the government accountable and advancing the party's positions on national issues.
Amid circulating rumors of leadership changes, Kodua made it clear that the NPP leadership stands firmly behind its current parliamentary team. He also expressed optimism about the party's path to power, stating that continued reorganisation efforts could lead to a return to power by 2028. Kodua reiterated the importance of showing Ghanaians that the party is serious about its reorganisation efforts.
