CAGD Launches Upgraded E-Pay-Slip System for Public Sector Workers

Accra: The Controller and Accountant-General's Department (CAGD) has introduced an upgraded electronic pay-slip system for all public sector workers on the National Payroll. This initiative aims to enhance transparency, security, and accessibility of payroll information for employees.

According to Ghana News Agency, the upgraded system requires all employees to utilize their National Identification Authority (NIA) numbers to access their pay slips. This measure is intended to improve the accuracy and protection of personal payroll data. In a statement signed by Mr. Cephas N. Dosoo, Head of Public Relations for the Controller and Accountant-General, it was indicated that employees must log onto https://gogepayservices.com to complete a registration process. This process includes verification with their employee number and Ghana Card number.

The statement further explains that users are required to confirm or update their phone numbers through a one-time password (OTP), create a new password, and select a security question and answer for future password recovery. While providing an email address is optional, it remains an available feature for users.
