Ronaldo Snubs Second Consecutive Al-Nassr Match Amid Transfer Protest

Riyadh: Al-Nassr manager, Jorge Jesus, has not included Cristiano Ronaldo in his squad to face Al-Ittihad in a Saudi Pro League match. This decision marks the second consecutive fixture the 41-year-old will miss.

According to Ghana Web, Ronaldo is carrying out a personal protest against the Public Investment Fund (PIF), which is Saudi Arabia's sovereign wealth fund and owns the top clubs in the country. Despite returning to training this week, Ronaldo has not been named in the squad for the match.

The five-time Ballon d'Or winner believes that Al Nassr is not being backed financially as much as their title rivals Al Hilal. This perceived financial disparity is at the heart of Ronaldo's ongoing protest.
