Kumasi: In July 2025, Prophet Emmanuel Worlasi, the Head Pastor of the Conquerors Chapel International, Kumasi Branch, shared a compelling vision he claimed to have received from God, which detailed the prospects of two leading contenders in the New Patriotic Party's (NPP) flagbearer race for 2026.
According to Ghana Web, Prophet Worlasi, during an appearance on The Lowdown on GhanaWeb TV, narrated his vision concerning the former Vice President and 2024 Flagbearer of the NPP, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, and the former Member of Parliament for Assin Central, Kennedy Agyapong. He prophesied that the outcome of the race would surprise Agyapong.
The prophet recounted to host Etsey Atisu how he was shown the future events of the NPP primaries by an angel in a vision. He described seeing two groups of people: one led by Kennedy Agyapong, surrounded by a multitude, and the other led by Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, accompanied by fewer people, mainly party leaders.
Prophet Worlasi initially interpreted the vision as a sign of Agyapong's victory due to the large following. However, the angel advised patience, revealing a twist in the narrative. In the vision, during the voting process, individuals wearing Agyapong's shirts exited the booths wearing Bawumia's shirts, symbolizing a shift in allegiance.
Further elaborating on the January 2026 polls, the prophet explained that although Kennedy Agyapong would command the crowds, the actual votes would favor Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia. The angel informed him that while many visibly supported Agyapong, their hearts truly backed Bawumia, leading to an unexpected election outcome.
Prophet Worlasi predicted that the results would confuse Agyapong, who might suspect foul play, as all indicators would initially suggest his victory. However, the hearts of the voters, as revealed in the vision, would ultimately align with Bawumia.
