All Nations University SRC Donates Cement for Health Sciences Block Construction

Koforidua: The Students' Representative Council (SRC) of All Nations University, Koforidua, has donated 50 bags of cement to support the construction of a health sciences block at the institution.

According to Ghana News Agency, the block, when completed, will be named after Dr. James Orleans-Lindsay, Chairman of the Emergency Medicine Technology (EMT) programme. It will comprise 10 lecture halls, two skill laboratories for EMT practice, four heads of department offices, 10 faculty offices, and washrooms.

Presenting the donation, Mr. Emmanuel Teye, SRC President, mentioned that the gesture was to contribute to the University's vision and development. He stated that it is important for the Council to contribute its quota to the institution since it would eventually benefit the students.

Receiving the items, Professor Samuel H. Donkor, President of All Nations University, expressed gratitude to the SRC, noting the positive impact the donation would have on the project. He emphasized that leaders who give selflessly create a culture of collaboration, trust, and empowerment, urging future SRC leaders to emulate the current leadership.

Prof. Donkor further appealed to Non-Governmental Organizations and philanthropists to support ongoing projects, including an ultra-modern hostel, through donations of building materials, skills, and other resources.
