Ejisu: Mr Augustus Andrew Nana Kwasi, Ashanti Regional Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has indicated that the year 2026 will be a year of hope and development for Ghanaians.
According to Ghana News Agency, Mr Augustus Andrew stated that the NDC government under President John Dramani Mahama had put in place measures that would lead to significant developmental projects. These projects aim to help Ghanaians achieve their socio-economic goals. Mr Augustus Andrew made these remarks while speaking to the Ghana News Agency in Ejisu after attending the New Year Eucharistic celebration with members of the St. Anthony Catholic Church in the Ashanti region.
He emphasized that the Ashanti Region, in particular, would witness numerous developmental projects and social intervention programs to enhance living conditions. He hinted that 2026 would be a hopeful year for many unemployed youth in the country, as the government had implemented strategies, policies, and programs to create jobs for the youth.
Mr Augustus Andrew encouraged the youth to take advantage of the programs instituted by the government to succeed in life. He also appealed to workers to avoid unproductive behaviors and urged them to work diligently to support the government's development efforts.
