Let us join hands to fight examination malpractices – MCE urges stakeholders in education

Ejisu (Ash),– Stakeholders in education have been urged to join forces to fight the rising spate of examination malpractices in the country’s educational system.

Mr S. O. Frimpong, Municipal Chief Executive for Ejisu, who made the call said it was time effective measures were taken to stop frequent leakages of examination papers in the country.

Speaking during a presentation of educational materials to some Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) candidates in the Municipality, he asked them to be disciplined and stay away from all forms of malpractices during the examination period.

He entreated the candidates to prepare well and focus on their studies, adding that the negative effects of examination malpractices were more dangerous for their future.

Mr Frimpong pointed out to them that the legacy their parents could give to them was education, and they should, therefore, not do anything that could ruin their future.

Among the items were mathematical sets, erasers, pens, pencils, nose masks and others.

Mr. Kwabena Owusu, Municipal Education Director, who received the items on behalf of the candidates, thanked the MCE for the gesture and said the items would go a long way to help the candidates to do well in the examination.
