GNECC wishes BECE candidates success

Accra,- The Ghana National Education Campaign Coalition (GNECC) has sent goodwill messages to candidates writing this year’s Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE), which begins today.

A statement, signed by Joseph Atsu Homadzi, National Chairman, GNECC, copied to the Ghana News Agency in Accra, said “We wish all candidates well as they sit for the exam and hope earnestly that all will come out with flying colours.”

It advised the candidates to refrain from all forms of exam malpractices because they could jeopardise their future.

The Coalition applauded the relentless efforts of teachers, students, and other stakeholders within the education support value chain for the diverse contributions made to prepare the candidates for this year’s examination.

It said it was confident that the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) had put in place measures necessary to make the 2021 BECE an incident free and a huge success to the delight of all.

The statement asked the students to adhere to all COVID 19 safety protocols as they went about the examination.
