In his quest to help the New Patriotic Party (NPP) retain power in the 2024 general elections, former chairman of the Asutifi North Constituency branch of the party, Mr Hussein Aremiyao has expressed his interest to contest for the post of 2nd Regional Vice Chairman for Ahafo Region.
Speaking to Modernghana News’ correspondent King Amoah in an exclusive telephone interview over the weekend, Mr Aremiyao who is currently the Regional Financial Secretary of the Ashanti NPP said his intention is to promote peace, unity and stability within the party.
When given the chance, he noted that his priority is to ensure reconciliation of the aggrieved party members, promote open door policy and build the base of the party formidably to break the eight electoral cycle.
Hussein Aremiyao who is also the former polling stations chairman of the Asutifi North Constituency of the NPP observed that hard work, determination and unity is the sure way to defeat the desperate opposition NDC.
He urges his supporters to vote for him in the upcoming Regional Congress to enable him join forces with the executives of the party to champion a course for the victory of the party.
