JUST IN: Belgian giants RSC Anderlecht confirm permanent signing of Majeed Ashimeru

Belgian giants, RSC Anderlecht have announced that they have signed Ghana midfielder Majeed Ashimeru on a permanent deal.

The exciting midfielder in the winter transfer window of 2021 joined the Purple and White outfit on a six-month loan deal from Austria outfit Red Bull Salzburg.

After impressing during his short stay at the club, RSC Anderlecht have succeeded in negotiating for his permanent signing.

“Majeed Ashimeru stays with RSC Anderlecht permanently

“The Ghanaian signs a contract with Sporting until 2025. Like last season, the attacking midfielder will play with the number 18,” RSC Anderlecht announced on Friday.

Majeed Ashimeru, 23, joined RSC Anderlecht from Red Bull Salzburg. He in the past had stints with WAFA SC as well as Wolfsberger and FC St. Gallen.

The midfielder will have a key role to play for the Belgian club next season as the side aims to win the Pro League title.
