Ghana striker Caleb Ekuban to undergo Genoa medical tomorrow

Ghana striker, Caleb Ekuban is set to undergo a mandatory medical at Genoa CFC tomorrow.

Ekuban is expected to sign a three year deal with the Serie A side.

The former Leeds United is joining Genoa from Turkish Super Lig side Trabzonspor in a deal worth 2.2 million euros.

The 27-year-old attacker is joining the club as a replacement for Ukrainian striker Eldor Shomurodov is on his way to fellow Serie A side AS Roma this summer.

Th fine striker had an incredible campaign in the Turkish top-flight last term where he scored 10 goals in 32 game outings for Trabzonspor.

Ekuban began his career in Italy at Mantova Youth team before moving to Chievo Verona where he spent at 7 years at the youth and senior levels.

He enjoyed loan spells at FC Suditrol, FC Lumezzane, AC Renate all in Italy and also FK Partizani in Albania.

Ekuban has capped nine times for Ghana with three goals to his credit.
