Asante Kotoko announce travelling squad for Dubai for pre-season training camp

Ghana Premier League giants, Asante Kotoko are traveling to Dubai today for a pre-season training camp ahead of the start of the 2021/2022 football season.

The club based in Kumasi has in the last few weeks been training in Kumasi and in Accra under new head coach Prosper Narteh Ogum.

On the back of confirmation from Modernghana Sports that Asante Kotoko will travel to Dubai today to continue pre-season, the club has announced today that it is traveling with 25 players.

In all, two goalkeepers, nine defenders, seven midfielders, and seven forwards will fly out of Ghana to the United Arab Emirates to start the Dubai pre-season tour.

Meanwhile, goalkeeper Danlad Ibrahim who is currently in the camp of the Black Stars will travel to Dubai to join the team after Ghana’s doubleheader encounter against Zimbabwe in the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.

Coach Prosper Nartey Ogum and his assistants are eager to prepare the team very well before the new Ghana Premier League season commences in the final weekend of October.

The Dubai Pre-season training camp will end on October 22.
