Bekwai: A woman has accused a police officer, known only as Ayaaba, along with a group of men, of allegedly abducting her husband in Bekwai, located in the Ashanti Region. The incident reportedly occurred shortly after her husband returned from the farm, according to a video shared on X by CDR Africa on Friday, February 6, 2026.
According to Ghana Web, the woman expressed her bewilderment over the situation, stating that she is unaware of any wrongdoing on her husband's part that could justify such treatment. "I do not know what crime my husband has committed. He has not harmed anyone," she asserted, emphasizing her husband's innocence.
She further cautioned that those responsible for her husband's disappearance, including the police officer identified as Ayaaba, should be held accountable if any harm comes to him. Her plea underscores the distress and urgency of the situation, highlighting her fear and desperation for her husband's safe return.
The woman also made a heartfelt appeal for the immediate release of her husband, reiterating her belief in his innocence and the impact of the ordeal on her family. "I do not know what crime my husband has committed. He has not killed anyone, so I am appealing with them to release him," she implored.
