Bechem United livewire, Augustine Okrah believes the side can still win the double this season after reaching the semi-final of the 2021-22 MTN FA Cup Competition.
The former Kumasi Asante Kotoko winger who is Bechem’s top scorer opened their account by scoring from the spot before Latif Anabila and Hafiz Wonta Konkoni made it 3-0 for the Hunters.
“Let me remind you that Bechem United are in the semifinals of this season’s FA Cup.
“I’m glad I got two goals and two assists in our quarterfinals victory over Tamale City.
“The season is obviously getting better because we can win double for the first time,” he wrote on social media.
Tamale City mounted a comeback and reduced the deficit through Baye and Bismark Asare scored again for the Northern side to make it 3-2.
Bechem United added a fourth and the icing on the cake to win 4-2 and will now play Aduana FC in the semis.
Meanwhile, Bechem United sit 2nd on the league log with 44 points with Asante Kotoko sitting top with 52 points after 24 games played.
