Accra: A video has emerged online showing Samuel Nartey George, the Minister of Communication, Digital Technology and Innovations, humorously interacting with Kennedy Agyapong, a former Member of Parliament and recent presidential hopeful. In the video, Sam George, who is also the Member of Parliament for Ningo-Prampram, engages in a playful conversation with Kennedy Agyapong, who recently competed in the New Patriotic Party (NPP) presidential primaries.
According to Ghana Web, during their exchange, Sam George jokingly referred to Kennedy Agyapong as 'President 2045,' suggesting that his ambition for the presidency might require patience. Additionally, Sam George teased Kennedy by stating that when he speaks, his fellow NPP members don't seem to heed his words, mentioning, "President 2045. When Kennedy Agyapong speaks the truth, you people don't listen to him. Bawumia doesn't listen to him. Ken oo Ken."
Kennedy Agyapong was one of the contestants in the NPP presidential primaries held on January 31, 2026. Unfortunately for him, he did not succeed in his bid, losing to former Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, who was elected as the NPP's flagbearer for the upcoming 2028 general elections.
