Akomaning, who was the 2025 winner of the Ghana Universities Debate Championship, reportedly consumed weedicides to end his life. The incident occurred outside the university premises.
According to Ghana News Agency, university sources revealed that Akomaning left a suicide note, and the incident was confirmed by a reliable source within the University.
