Accra:Actress Uche Ogbodo has advised women in unhappy marriages to recognize their worth, prioritize self-love, and leave relationships that no longer meet their needs.
According to Ghana Web, Ogbodo, an advocate for fairness in marriage, emphasized the importance of mutual fidelity and urged men to take responsibility for their actions instead of excusing infidelity. She highlighted the need for self-awareness, urging women to identify their non-negotiables and know when their needs are unmet.
Ogbodo remarked that abuse is not solely physical, pointing out the mental and psychological aspects of abuse that undermine a woman's self-worth. Despite these challenges, she acknowledged that some men are well-disciplined and understand the responsibilities of marriage.
