Twifo-hemang-lower-denkyira: Mr Patrick Fiable, the District Chief Executive for Twifo-Hemang-Lower-Denkyira (THLD), has inaugurated the construction of a three-unit classroom block at Asamanso and a kindergarten block at Denkyira Wawase. These projects mark a significant development in the district's educational infrastructure.
According to Ghana News Agency, the classroom blocks will include essential facilities such as offices, a store, a staff room, and toilets. The projects are funded by the District Assembly Common Fund (DACF) and are expected to be completed within six months, at which point they will be handed over to the community.
Mr Fiable urged the residents of Denkyira Wawase to support the contractor in completing the project on schedule and to assist in maintaining the school's property. He assured the community that the district works engineer would oversee the projects to ensure they meet all specifications and provide value for money.
Further, Mr Fiable reiterated the government's commitment to bringing necessary development to the district. In an interview, Mr Isaac Nyame, a local farmer, expressed optimism that the new classroom block would allow parents to enroll their children at an early age, fostering familiarity with the educational environment. He also appealed to the Assembly for quality furniture to enhance the learning experience.
