Tosen:Residents of Tosen, a quiet locality near Anum-Boso in the Asuogyaman District of the Eastern Region, are reeling after a domestic incident resulted in the deaths of a couple. The tragedy has enveloped the community in fear and mourning.
According to Ghana Web, the incident occurred on Saturday when a local commercial motorcyclist, known as an Okada rider, named Emmanuel, heard two gunshots while passing through the area. Initially dismissing the noise as part of a celebration, he continued on his way until two children emerged from a nearby house, screaming for help and claiming their father had shot their mother.
Responding to the children's cries, Emmanuel quickly went to the local police station to report the incident. The motive behind the shooting remains unknown, leaving the community searching for answers.
Ghana Police Service officers have since arrived at the scene, taking charge of the investigation. The bodies of the couple have been sent to the mortuary for preservation and autopsy as authorities work to uncover the full details of the event.
