Tic Tac’s Wife Decries Rampant Employee Theft in Her Restaurant Business

Accra:Awura Abena Serwaa Ampaafe, wife of veteran Ghanaian rapper Tic Tac and co-owner of Gennix Pizza Restaurant and Grill, has voiced her frustration over what she describes as rampant theft by some employees, stating that the experience has made running a business in Ghana extremely challenging.

According to Ghana Web, she expressed her dismay in a video shared on social media, recounting nearly two decades of operating the restaurant and claiming she has witnessed workers stealing cash, food items, and utilizing company resources for personal relationships without compensation.

She elaborated on the various forms of theft she has encountered, noting that some employees allegedly gave customers free meals due to personal relationships, while others prepared large quantities of food for their partners using the restaurant’s supplies. Reflecting on her years in business, she stated that she never imagined women could engage in such levels of theft until she became a business owner and plans to write a book documenting her experiences.

Despite the challenges, she remains committed to her business, acknowledging that many people depend on her for support, and she continues to seek advice on how to manage and mitigate these issues effectively.
