Kumasi: TI Ahmadiyya Senior High School has set a new benchmark in the Ashanti Region by securing their 17th consecutive inter-co double victory in the ongoing 2026 Inter-Schools competition, claiming both the Boys and Girls division titles. The events took place on January 4, 2026, at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium, where TI Ahmadiyya Senior High School, popularly known as Amass, showcased their dominance across various athletic contests.
According to Ghana Web, Amass athletes won gold in the 100m final and further secured victory in the 4100m relay, where strategic baton exchanges played a crucial role in their win. In the Zone 1 200m women's final, Fulera and Adelaide from TI Amass clinched gold and silver medals respectively. Similarly, in the Boys' 200m final, two TI Amass athletes secured the top two positions, earning gold and silver.
In the overall Zone 1 rankings, TI Amass emerged as champions in both the boys' and girls' divisions. In the boys' category, Effisco followed in second place, with Asanteman SHS, Osei Tutu SHS, Aduman SHS, and Mpasatia SHS trailing behind. The girls' division saw a similar pattern, with Effisco taking second place, followed by Asanteman SHS, St Monica's SHS, Aduman SHS, and Serwaa Nyarko Girls' SHS. Both the boys and girls teams from TI Amass were awarded trophies for their performances.
