According to ghana news agency:ay workshop organized by Friends of Adaklu (FOA), an NGO in the Adaklu district. The workshop, held at the Residency in Ho, was themed 'Strengthening Community Child Protection System for Effective Management, Coordination and Sustainable Reintegration,' and was funded by SOS Villages and IJM.
Mad Asamoah warned that information shared on the Internet could be used negatively against individuals in the future, potentially harming personal and professional relationships. She advised against succumbing to pressure to post regrettable content on social media.
She also advised children to use their natural intellect in their studies rather than relying solely on Artificial Intelligence. Mad Asamoah highlighted the role of Community Child Protection Committee (CCPC) members as the primary defenders of children, urging them to connect their communities with formal child protection networks.
She called for coordinated efforts to prevent child abuse, including physical and sexual abuse, exploitation, neglect, and trafficking, within communities. Mad Asamoah encouraged increased vigilance and education on child protection to reduce abuse cases.
Expressing concern over the erosion of Ghanaian moral values, she appealed to traditional and religious leaders to help restore these values. She stressed the role of parents in nurturing responsible future adults, noting that many parents have neglected their duties, exposing children to harm.
Mad Asamoah urged parents to not only fulfill their children's material needs but also engage actively in their lives to prevent potential abuse and harm.
