San bernardino: US boxer Isis Sio, 19, is in an artificial coma, following a serious head injury in a bout. Sio was hurt in a first-round knock-out by Jocelyn Camarillo in San Bernardino, California on Saturday.
According to Ghana News Agency, fight broadcaster ProBox TV said on social media late on Sunday: 'On behalf of CEO Garry Jonas and the entire ProBox family, we are praying for a speedy recovery for Isis Sio. 'Ms. Sio is currently in a medically induced coma. Our thoughts are with her and her family at this very difficult time. Please join us in wishing for a full recovery.'
