Standard Chartered Bank Ghana PLC Declares GHS673.48 Million Dividend at 56th AGM

Accra: Standard Chartered Bank Ghana PLC has held its 56th Annual General Meeting (AGM) to present its Annual Report and Financial Statements for the year ended 31 December 2025 to its shareholders. The Bank declared a dividend of GHS4.989 per ordinary share, amounting to a total payout of GHS672.35 million, and a preference share dividend of GHS1.13 million, resulting in a total payout of GHS673.48 million after shareholders approved the final dividend at the Bank's AGM held in Accra. According to Ghana Web, the Bank also reaffirmed its commitment to supporting Ghana's economic development as it marks 130 years of continuous operation. This commitment was reinforced during the Board's engagement with shareholders, where the Bank's impact and contribution to Ghana's progress, from trade and infrastructure to wealth creation and cross-border banking solutions, were highlighted. Addressing shareholders, Ebenezer Twum Asante, Chairman of Standard Chartered Bank Ghana PLC, emphasized the bank's focus on deliver ing shareholder value. He noted that despite global uncertainties, the Bank remains optimistic about Ghana's improving macroeconomic outlook and is confident in the strength of its franchise and strategy.
