Accra: Ghanaian dancehall artiste Shatta Wale has once again taken a swipe at former Deputy Minister of Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts, Mark Okraku-Mantey. In an interview on The Bonah Show, shared on TikTok and sighted by GhanaWeb on June 16, 2026, Shatta Wale claimed that Mark Okraku-Mantey lacks in-depth knowledge of the entertainment industry.
According to Ghana Web, the musician criticized Okraku-Mantey for failing to fulfil promises made to players in the creative arts sector during his time in office, further alleging that he did not make good use of the position he occupied. Shatta Wale also launched a series of criticisms at the former deputy minister, questioning his understanding of the creative arts industry despite his extensive experience as an entertainment personality.
Shatta Wale did not hold back in his comments, stating, “Mark Okraku-Mantey is senseless. Can you see that he didn’t do anything while in office? He didn’t even benefit from his own position.” He concluded by asserting, “As far as the industry is concerned, he is the only person who is not intelligent.”
