Accra: The Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Gold Board (GoldBod), Sammy Gyamfi, participated in the Government Accountability Series to discuss the board's performance and address recent allegations. Gyamfi, who also serves as the National Communications Officer of the National Democratic Congress, provided a detailed account of his tenure and the board's contributions to Ghana's economic stability.

According to Ghana Web, Gyamfi's address included an overview of the successes achieved by GoldBod under his leadership, with a focus on the board's role in stabilizing the national currency. He also tackled pressing allegations, such as the case involving a driver allegedly embezzling over GHS200 million and reports of significant financial losses incurred by the board.
