Kasoa: A renowned herbalist, Dr. Felix Antwi Dankwa, has reportedly died in a fire at his residence in Kasoa New Town, located in the Central Region. The tragic event occurred around 1 am on Tuesday, August 11, 2026.
According to Ghana Web, Dr. Antwi Dankwa and his wife were reportedly experiencing marital challenges and were in the process of seeking a divorce. The situation had escalated to the point where the couple had a confrontation in front of the Kasoa Police Station, which led to the matter being referred to court.
However, before the court proceedings could take place, Dr. Antwi Dankwa was found dead, having been burnt in the fire at his home. Reports indicate that his wife and other occupants of the house were unharmed during the incident.
The Kasoa Divisional Police Command has since invited the deceased's wife and other occupants of the house to assist with the ongoing investigations into the incident.
