Rapidwash, a member of the TYPE Group of companies has launched its first-ever mobile self-service laundry on Friday 4th March at Tema Community 18 Shell Service Station.
The mobile self-service laundry is a fully integrated laundry with high-capacity washers, dryers, and a complete payment terminal including a state-of-the-art touch screen expected to enhance good customer experience.
At the launch in Tema Community 18, CEO of Rapid Wash, Mr. Coby Asmah, said the installation of the first mobile self-laundry in Ghana is historic and we will install machines in as many Shell stations as possible under a special arrangement with Vivo.
According to Mr. Asmah, the Mobile Self -Service laundry is ideal for cleaning large or heavy loads such as bed sheets, blankets, and pillows in a record time of 30minutes per washing cycle making it possible to combine your shopping, busy corporate schedule, and weekly laundry.
“Our machines are Eco-Friendly and require only 16KW with LED lights illuminating the unit using less energy than standard lighting “he noted.
He added; the self-service mobile laundry has a high-speed spin cycle which has only 50% humidity compared to the normal washing machine which leaves 90%. This ensures quicker drying time and ease of handling.
He noted Rapid Wash is offering a 25% discount for the month of March for all its customers who visit the Tema Community 18, Mobile Self-Service laundry and also urged Ghanaians to look out for exciting promotions with amazing rewards in the coming weeks designed to enhance their laundry experience.
Mr. Samuel Baah Coffie, a representative from Vivo, for his part, said the launch of the first every revolutionary outdoor laundry machine at Tema Community 18 service station is another testament to our commitment to continue to innovate and partner with Ghanaian owned businesses to grow together with our brand.

He added that Vivo energy business has strong health, safety, and security environment standards at its scores and however urged service stations, select shops and our partners like Rapid Wash to upload this health and safety standards.
