President Mahama to Depart Accra for South Korea Visit

Accra: President John Dramani Mahama is set to embark on a working visit to South Korea from March 10th to 14th. According to Ghana News Agency, a statement from Mr. Felix Kwakye Ofosu, the Presidential Spokesman and Minister of State in-charge of Government Communications, confirmed that President Mahama will depart Accra on Sunday, March 8th. During his visit, President Mahama is scheduled to engage in a bilateral meeting with South Korean President Lee Jae Myung. He will also meet Woo Won-shik, the Speaker of the Korean National Assembly. The visit will include President Mahama participating in a ship-naming ceremony at the Hyundai Shipyard in Ulsan. Additionally, he will deliver a speech at a Conferment Ceremony at Yonsei University. The statement further detailed that President Mahama will spend an evening with Ghanaians residing, studying, and working in South Korea. He will also attend a dinner meeting with Chief Executives and business owners.
