Hohoe: Mr Enoch Danso Agyekum, the Hohoe Municipal Electoral Officer, stated that the Electoral Commission (EC) anticipates the New Patriotic Party's (NPP) nationwide presidential primaries in the constituency to be peaceful, free, and fair, with the outcome accepted by all stakeholders. He emphasized the importance of ensuring a smooth electoral process during the upcoming event.
According to Ghana News Agency, Mr. Agyekum highlighted that a total of 656 delegates, including former Members of Parliament, District Chief Executives, and former constituency executives, are expected to cast their votes in the January 31, 2026, poll. The voting is scheduled to take place from 0700 to 1400 hours at the basketball court of the St Francis College of Education, Hohoe.
Mr. Agyekum assured that all electoral regulations and guidelines would be strictly enforced throughout the voting process. He mentioned that only accredited delegates, officials, security personnel, and media practitioners would be permitted at the voting center to maintain order and transparency.
