Police Commander Cautions BECE Candidates Against Lawless Behaviours

Bechem: The Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Micheal Koole, the Tano South Municipal Police Commander in the Ahafo Region, has cautioned the candidates writing the ongoing Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) against acts of lawlessness.

According to Ghana News Agency, ASP Koole advised the students to remain confident and calm, assuring them that the presence of the police at various examination centers was intended to maintain law and order, not to intimidate. In an interview held at Bechem, he emphasized that the police are friends to the candidates and encouraged them to focus on achieving good grades in the BECE.

ASP Koole further highlighted that, in collaboration with other stakeholders, the police had implemented measures to improve security and protect both candidates and invigilators during the examinations. He urged invigilators, supervisors, and candidates to maintain discipline and report any acts of lawlessness that might jeopardize the integrity and smooth conduct of the BECE.

In his closing remarks, ASP Koole warned candidates and their teachers against engaging in examination malpractices, noting that such actions could have serious consequences.
