Obuasi:Fresh allegations of sexual assault have emerged against Zakaria Abdulai, the headmaster of Obuasi Senior High Technical School, involving 14 students. The claims were detailed in a documentary aired on October 19, 2026, highlighting disturbing accounts of abuse.

According to Ghana Web, investigative journalist Manasseh Azure's documentary reveals accounts from victims who describe being lured into the headmaster's bungalow and assaulted. One victim recounted being invited to Abdulai's house on the pretense of an errand, only to be forcibly assaulted when she refused his advances.

The documentary also includes a testimony from another victim who described being trapped in Abdulai's bungalow. She attempted to deter him by indicating she was menstruating, but he allegedly forced her to perform sexual acts regardless. The victim claimed she was threatened with violence if she spoke out about the incident.

The documentary further alleges that some victims who reported the abuse to their housemistresses were instructed to keep silent. These revelations spotlight the ongoing issue of sexual misconduct within educational institutions and the challenges victims face in seeking justice.
