Sunyani:Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the flagbearer for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), stated that the party plans to approach the 2028 election with ideas that are both practical and costed.
According to Ghana Web, Dr. Bawumia emphasized the importance of learning from the National Democratic Congress' shortcomings, which he claims have demonstrated to Ghanaians the risks of trusting unfulfilled promises from political parties.
He assured citizens that the NPP will present viable and actionable ideas in 2028, promising that the party will focus on making pledges they can uphold. Dr. Bawumia highlighted that the digital age allows everyone to be held accountable for their promises, as they can easily be revisited online. He criticized the NDC for making numerous promises that he believes they have failed to fulfill, labeling them as incompetent in delivering on their commitments. Dr. Bawumia made these remarks during the Party's Thanksgiving Service in Sunyani.
