Accra: Founder of Prophetic Hill Chapel, Prophet Nigel Gaisie, has withdrawn his GHS10 million defamation lawsuit against Prophet Nicholas Osei, popularly known as Kumchacha. Recently, Nigel Gaisie filed the lawsuit against Kumchacha over what he described as a series of defamatory statements made about him during public discussions and across various social media platforms.
According to Ghana Web, in the suit, Prophet Nigel Gaisie alleged that Kumchacha accused him of orchestrating arrangements and planting individuals within church congregations to obtain personal information, which he later presented as divine revelations during prophetic sessions. In a recent development, Nigel Gaisie, in a post shared on Facebook and sighted by GhanaWeb on June 10, 2026, announced that he had decided to withdraw the case after receiving several appeals from his spiritual father and fellow ministers.
Gaisie explained, "Many men of God called on me to discontinue the case, though it was extremely difficult for me to agree because of the level of damage and hurt the said man of God and his cohorts have caused me over the years." He added that following advice from his spiritual father, Prophet Emmanuel Amoako, and other respected figures in the religious community, he decided to heed their counsel and discontinue the lawsuit.
Despite withdrawing the case, Prophet Nigel Gaisie issued a stern warning to Kumchacha, cautioning him against making any further comments about him. He emphasized that he would not hesitate to return to court if Kumchacha speaks about him or his ministry again. Gaisie stressed the importance of allowing individuals to live in peace and pursue their work without unnecessary interference.
He concluded by stating, "Out of the respect I have for the body of Christ, I have listened, but he should be spoken to and told not to mention my name again. We are only colleagues in ministry; I do not share anything with him privately."
