As the elections of constituency executives of the main opposition National Democratic Congress draw nearer, aspiring Youth Organiser for Akuapem North Constituency of the Eastern region is optimistic of victory over his contenders.
Comrade Ahmed Agbenyadzi, the current Deputy Youth Organiser has explained the many roles he has played in the constituency as far as activities of the NDC are concerned.
The astute communicator of the party said it is time for him to be given the mandate to help gather and mobilise the youth ahead of the 2024 general elections.
Comrade Ahmed Agbenyadzi has once been a branch youth organiser and also a branch organiser with solid records.
At the time of holding the above mentioned positions, Comrade Agbenyadzi is said to have contributed immensely to the grassroots organisation of the party in the constituency as he was seen to be dedicated to the service of the NDC.
He was able to bring on board many youths who joined in the campaign for the party as more people were convinced to switch to the NDC due to their hard work.
He is currently the Organiser for Democratic Youth for Competent Leadership, a pro-NDC group that sees to the activities of government to ensure competent governance devoid of corruption and its related issues.
Under his leadership as the Organiser, the group has made several statements on national issues of concern and matters relating to the Akuapem North constituency, thereby putting authorities on their toes.
He is also a former Treasurer for Concerned Youth for Akwapim North, which is a youth group that spearheaded the development of the constituency by leaders in power.
He served with outstanding performance and ensured the finances of the group was solid to lead them in achieving its dream of seeking development for the constituency.
However, Comrade Ahmed Agbenyadzi has assured delegates and supporters of the party to rally behind him and give him the nod to lead the youth wing of the party in the constituency.
He has promised to ensure the NDC win the Akuapem North parliamentary seat from the nonperforming NPP MP who is currently in power but has nothing to show for being a representative of the people.
“I am calling on delegates to vote for me to lead the youth into the 2024 elections because I am determined to ensure the NDC win the parliamentary seat and also gather more votes for our Flag bearer.”
