NDC bargains for dishonesty by choosing Fiifi Kwetey as General Secretary – Richard Ahiagba

The National Communications Director of the ruling New Patriotic Party, Richard Ahiagba has reacted to the election of former propaganda Secretary of the NDC, Fiifi Fiavi Kwetey as their General Secretary.

Mr. Ahiagba said Mr. Fiavi Kwetey’s election is an indication that the opposition party is far from speaking the truth to Ghanaians.

Speaking to Accra-based JoyNews’ Benjamin Akapo on Thursday, December 22, the ruling party’s spokesperson claimed that the background of the newly elected NDC chief scribe depicts dishonesty and lies.

He feared that Ghanaians would be fed nothing but falsehoods by the NDC communicators.

“Looking at the background of the current General Secretary of the NDC tells us that they are not going to tell Ghanaians the truth,” Mr. Ahiagba stated.

Mr. Fiifi Fiavi Kwetey, while holding a position as the NDC propaganda secretary introduced an agenda known as “setting the record straight” in 2008, which, to him, was aimed at exposing the corrupt deeds in the then Kufour-led NPP administration.

He has, however, hinted at reintroducing it to expose the current Akufo-Addo administration’s corrupt practices to Ghanaians.
