Teshie: The Najel Foundation Easter Kids Funfair provided an array of engaging activities for children, drawing participants from various neighborhoods within the Ledzorkuku-Krowor area to the Bethlehem Presby Park in Teshie.
According to Ghana Web, the event included health screening sessions where both parents and children were assessed for health conditions such as diabetes and high blood pressure, aiming to address lifestyle-related diseases. The funfair offered a variety of nostalgic activities, including bouncy castles, carousels, train rides, trampolines, foam machines, swimming, and face painting.
Najel Foundation, known for its slogan 'Restoring Happiness', created an environment that allowed children to enjoy the Easter celebration. Music and dance sessions were incorporated to promote camaraderie among the children, contributing to an atmosphere of joy and excitement.
The event attracted hundreds of children who enjoyed a wide selection of food and drinks throughout the day. In an interview, Naomi Naa Adjeley Annang, the founder of Najel, emphasized the importance of fostering happiness and laughter among children as part of their psychological well-being, helping them feel loved and included.
Annang praised the Najel Foundation team for organizing a successful event that celebrated Easter with children, aiming to restore happiness. The CEO also expressed appreciation to the philanthropic individuals and organizations that supported the initiative.
