Accra:Ghanaian musician Iona Reine has accused some pastors of engaging in conduct that contradicts the values they preach. She claims that several religious leaders are involved in acts such as sexual misconduct with female church members.
According to Ghana Web, Iona Reine alleged that some pastors engage in inappropriate behavior, including the rape of female church members in their offices and inside church auditoriums. She stated that such actions have led some church members to lose their faith and stop attending church services.
The musician further claimed that some pastors introduce male church members to homosexuality and that these actions are particularly harmful when they come from those expected to provide spiritual guidance. She expressed her willingness to expose any pastor involved in such behavior, regardless of personal relationships.
Iona Reine, who was married to Pastor Nana Kwame Okrah in 2024, confirmed in a 2026 interview that their marriage had ended. She emphasized that she is not available for marriage following the split.
