MP Pledges School Bus Donation to Aburaman SHS

Abura dunkwa: The Member of Parliament (MP) for Abura-Asebu-Kwamankese, Mr. Felix Kwakye Ofosu, has committed to providing a bus for Aburaman Senior High School. He made this promise during a durbar held to mark the culmination of the Odumkwaa Festival in Abura Dunkwa.

According to Ghana News Agency, the MP also announced plans to complete all unfinished Get-Fund projects at the school, enabling it to operate a single track in the upcoming academic year, which commences in September. He emphasized the government's dedication to offering logistical support to schools, ensuring they effectively fulfill their mission to educate Ghanaian students.

Mr. Ofosu acknowledged the commendable efforts of teachers and school administrators, assuring that the government would continue to collaborate with them to enhance the quality of education. Dr. Isaac Ignatius Yankey, the Headmaster of Aburaman SHS, expressed relief at the news, noting that the new bus would alleviate the inconvenience of constantly hiring transportation for student activities such as field trips and sports competitions.

Dr. Yankey also called on stakeholders, philanthropists, alumni, and others to assist in improving the school, urging them to contribute towards making it a better learning environment.
