Oyarifa:Rapper Medikal has shared a harrowing experience where he was held at gunpoint during a visit to his girlfriend's house. The incident occurred in Oyarifa when Medikal was confronted by the woman's 'sponsor.'
According to Ghana Web, Medikal recounted that the woman had persistently invited him to her home, and he finally agreed to visit one afternoon. During his visit, a man unexpectedly entered the room, demanding an explanation for his presence.
The situation escalated when the man brandished what Medikal believed was a 9mm pistol and ordered him to kneel. The rapper described how he immediately went into a defensive mode, raising his hands and pleading for his life. He tried to explain that he was unaware of the woman's involvement with someone else.
Medikal expressed that the encounter was terrifying, as he was focused on building his future and suddenly found himself in a life-threatening situation. He stressed that it took the grace of God for him to escape unharmed, as his mother's repeated phone calls distracted the armed man, allowing him to flee.
Reflecting on the ordeal, Medikal advised young men to be cautious when visiting women at their homes, particularly when unaware of who might have arranged or paid for the accommodation.
