Accra: Ghanaian actress and television host Nana Ama McBrown has hinted at launching a flagship restaurant under her popular cooking show brand, McBrown's Kitchen. She revealed this during an interview, expressing her passion for cooking and the potential of expanding her brand into the culinary industry.
According to Ghana Web, McBrown shared insights into her career choices, stating that if she hadn't pursued entertainment, she would likely have become either a driver or a caterer. The award-winning actress explained that she values independence and flexibility in her work, which has always drawn her to careers that offer such freedom. "I would have been either a driver or a caterer; I want a freedom job. A job that I can control myself; I probably would have been an Uber driver," she stated.
McBrown further disclosed that cooking remains her greatest passion, despite learning various trades while growing up. "From the beginning I learned a little bit of sewing, a little of trade, everything, but my favourite thing would have been. I love cooking," she said, emphasizing her enjoyment of being in the kitchen and her willingness to cook for large groups.
During the interview, the host suggested that McBrown should establish a restaurant under her McBrown's Kitchen brand, complimenting the meals she shares on social media. While McBrown's Kitchen is already an established brand, the actress responded positively to the idea, noting that her boss had made a similar suggestion five years ago. McBrown appeared to warmly receive the proposal, hinting that the concept could be worth exploring in the future.
