Ho, Jan. 9, GNA – Mr Divine Bosson, Ho Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) has cut the sod for the construction of a Zonal Office for the Matse community in the Municipality.

The Office, the MCE insisted, would help decentralise the local governance structure by facilitating the works of members of the Zonal Council.

He, therefore, appealed to traditional authorities and other stakeholders to consider the Councils as a replica of the local Assembly, and help nurture them towards generating the necessary revenue.

Togbe Teiku V of Matse, commended the initiative and pledged the needed support towards its completion, noting, the expected ease of engagement with the Assembly when completed.

The Matse Zonal Council office project would be completed within four months.
