Manchester United are ready to sign Tariq Lamptey from Brighton & Hove Albion according to reports.
The Ghanaian has been identified as a potential replacement for Aaron Wan-Bissaka.
The right-back has been subjected to frequent criticisms following his poor outings in the ongoing season.
According to Fichajes, the Premier League giants are contemplating whether to make an approach for Lamptey during one of the upcoming transfer windows.
While a hamstring injury has restricted the 21-year-old to seven appearances this season, the Englishman is first choice in the position when fit.
Although the former Chelsea youngster has a contract at the Amex Stadium until 2025, the Seagulls may give consideration to a sale for the right price.
Lamptey joined Brighton from Chelsea during the 2019/2020 Premier League season.
Lamptey was born to Ghanaian parents in London which makes him eligible to represent either the West African nation or England in future.
