The past five years have been particularly tumultuous, marked by his wife’s deep addiction to pornography. Initially, he hoped it was a phase, but it has since escalated to demanding intimate acts multiple times a day, leaving him exhausted and unable to meet her expectations.
The situation has severely affected his well-being, leading to insomnia, mental fog, and emotional exhaustion. The man also disclosed that his wife openly cheats on him, justifying her actions by claiming he fails to satisfy her needs. The relationship has further deteriorated after he suffered a heart attack last year, prompting medical advice to cease attempts to fulfill her demands through aphrodisiacs.
The man revealed that his wife frequently brings other men into their home or meets them elsewhere, having been caught over 15 times in the past year. Despite this, she dismisses his concerns, asserting that it is merely physical and insisting her love for him remains unchanged.
Complicating the situation is the financial power dynamic in their marriage. The man earns GH?6,000 monthly, insufficient to cover their $2,000 apartment rent, which is part of the wealth tied to her family. Her father, a wealthy businessman, had employed him, and she played a significant role in their marriage’s inception.
